Drift Inn
A clifftop cabin for two, minutes from the surf highway.
Your own little campsite, elevated.
Set on a half-acre property against a rural backdrop, the cabin sits above the sea with uninterrupted ocean and mountain views. From the clifftop you can unwind in privacy, take in spectacular sunsets, and feel completely immersed in the coast.
Drift Inn is a peaceful coastal cabin for two, just two minutes south of Opunake township — an easy escape from everyday life while keeping the shops, cafés and conveniences of a small seaside town close at hand. Whether you're here to surf, fish, beachcomb or simply enjoy the coastal vibe, everything is right on your doorstep.
Rustic charm, built strong.
The cabin carries a rustic, coastal look — natural timbers and a warm, lived-in feel — but behind that charm it's built strong: solid, fully insulated, and designed to stay warm in winter and cool in summer. The character of a classic beach cabin with the comfort of a modern build.
The covered deck is made for every season. Clear PVC blinds wrap the space, blocking wind and rain while keeping the view wide open, and an outdoor gas fire table turns cool evenings into cosy ones. Inside you'll find board games, chess, books and colouring — the simple things that help you slow down.
Everything you need, nothing you don't
